It's about Jesus
Who was He? Who did He claim to be? If some group of Christians made this up, that would be one thing. But they didn't. It was Christ himself who made these claims to be God, and the only way to God. If you disagree, your argument's with him ... but if he really died on the cross and rose from the grave, like the Bible says, we'd better take him seriously ...

The most important question everyone answers, and we all must answer this question--every human has to decide at some time in his/her life. Nick.

One of the problems is the gospels were written 40-70 years after he died. Each with subtle differnces in character. More so if you take in to account the gospels not in our Bible. Also take in the bigger picture that the first chapter of John states Jesus IS God.
The God of the old testament and Jesus in the new are very different characters. This is probably why the "how-to" on getting into heaven according to Christianity is very messy. Not knocking the faith. I respect it, especially those who actually read the text. But just giving you an understanding of the "other" important questions.
